Role: Bagger Operator (Contract)

Hours: Full-Time. 10 Hour shift- 6 days on / 6 days off (1 year contract)

What you’ll do
Bagger Operator plays a vital role in operating an automated bagging system, in a fast-paced environment, ensuring proper quality stock rotation.

Maintaining proper stock rotation by operating automated bagging system

Organizing work areas to ensure safety and cleanliness, ensuring workspace is clean and organized

Ensure quality standards are met

Perform other duties as required and participate in a rotating on-call schedule
Who we’re looking for
-
Ability to regularly bend, twist, climb ladders and stairs, open/close lids and stand for extended periods

Ability to lift and move up to 25 kg (55 lbs) regularly

Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced physically demanding environment

Comfortable working in a dusty, noisy, and variable-temperature environment

Comfortable with use of personal protective equipment (e.g., hard hat, safety boots, etc.) as required

Capable of operating equipment and working at heights and confined spaces when required

Ability to work shift work is a MUST: Currently, we are operating on a 10-hour shift schedule, which will soon be transitioning to a 12-hour shift schedule. The new shifts will run from 10 am to 10 pm and from 10 pm to 10 am. We will be following 6 days on, 6 days off pattern, which will eventually move to a regular 12/4 shift pattern during the winter months

Forklift and skid steer experience is an asset
