Overview:

As IT Manager, you will oversee all aspects of IT within Kiwa NL, including software and application development, infrastructure, operations, end-user support, data management, and security. You will ensure that our IT systems are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business goals.

You will be the strategic link between our Dutch business leaders and the broader corporate IT landscape translating local needs into concrete solutions and services that drives growth and efficiency. 

As Kiwa continues to evolve as a trusted partner in testing, inspection, and certification, the role of IT becomes increasingly critical in driving innovation, operational excellence, and strategic alignment. The IT leadership function within Kiwa NL plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing technology initiatives that support both local business needs and global ambitions. This position requires a visionary leader who can bridge business and technology, foster collaboration across teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality digital services.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with Kiwa’s business objectives and Corporate IT strategy;
• Ensure the local IT services are delivered in the most optimal way, with a combination of Global suppliers and local service providers;
• Provide inspirational leadership to a multidisciplinary IT team;
• Ensure compliance with regulations and financial best practices through adoption of global IT policies;
• Drive application development and improvement based on business needs;
• Prepare and manage IT budgets in collaboration with senior leadership;
• Deliver digital architecture services that support technical direction and innovation;
• Engage with business leaders to gather needs and translate them into actionable IT solutions;
• Expand digital services and working with Global IT colleagues to deliver AI based solutions as well as reporting that meets the Kiwa NL business needs;
• Ensuring Kiwa NL IT services are being leveraged into global solutions where appropriate and that NL is an active part of the global function;

• Proven experience in IT leadership, preferably in a matrixed or international environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and networking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate between local affiliates and corporate teams.
• Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capabilities.
• Experience in translating business needs into IT products and services.
• Fluency in Dutch and English is a plus.
