About The Role: Our Quality Officer ensures overall quality objectives are met by managing documentation, conducting audits, implementing monitoring plans, handling complaints and non-conformities, and supporting the implementation of new quality standards and training.

Responsibilities: 

• Maintain and enhance the Quality Management System: Ensure all procedures and documentation align with industry standards, regulations, and customer demands, including preparing management reviews and monitoring the quality plan

• Conduct comprehensive quality assessments and audits: Perform self-assessments, lead or coordinate internal and external audits, and manage corrective actions to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement

• Provide essential training and support: Educate employees on food and feed safety practices (GMPs, HACCP), act as a key user for quality IT solutions, and assist with compliance assessments

• Monitor and analyze quality performance data: Define and execute monitoring plans for goods, analyze QC data for trends and risks, and investigate customer complaints to implement effective corrective and preventive actions

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives: Participate in improvement projects, support customer and regulatory audits, and contribute to the development and implementation of sampling plans and analytical methods

Skills and Expertise  

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in food science, biology, chemistry, or a related field

• Knowledge of food and feed safety regulations

• Knowledge of quality management systems and certification schemes including HACCP and GFSI standards

• Proficient in MS Office Suite

Expectation from the Role: 

• 24/7 Shifts

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Attention to detail and ability to accurately analyse data

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
