What you’ll do 

As Selko’s Plant Manager, you will take ownership of the facility. You will lead the production, safety, quality, operational excellence and maintenance teams through continuous improvement and cultural shifts. You will be responsible for driving key performance metrics, such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and On-Time In-Full (OTIF), while identifying root causes to optimize complex processes. Beyond daily operations, you will sponsor major CAPEX projects and sustainability initiatives, balancing the immediate demands of production with Nutreco’s long-term goal of reducing the facility's environmental footprint. By fostering an inclusive environment and upholding our values of integrity and curiosity, you will empower your team to innovate and deliver the high-quality nutritional solutions essential to Feeding the Future. 

 

Who we’re looking for 

We are looking for a high-impact leader with a proven track record in strategic leadership and people management, specifically someone who has successfully guided production or maintenance teams through periods of change. You should possess deep technical expertise in chemical manufacturing operational excellence.  Our ideal candidate is a collaborative problem-solver who fosters inclusivity and team cohesion while maintaining a steadfast commitment to professional integrity.  Your ability to influence and build strong relationships in a complex, matrixed environment is key. 

 

You’ll also need 

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience managing plant operations in a chemical manufacturing environment 

  • Experience in collaborating across different business functions to identify root causes and implement process optimizations. 

  • Demonstrated ability to set expectations and provide feedback while leading a team through transition periods to ensure sustained motivation.
