¿What will you do?
You will report to the Strategic Planning Skt Latam Director, Design and lead the management and governance of the Business Continuity Plan (BCP), including the project portfolio related to operational continuity, ensuring the effective execution of strategic initiatives, the timely closure of critical findings, and the organization’s preparedness for disruptions (e.g., environmental risks, critical service failures, natural disasters, cyberattacks, and supply chain disruptions). This role ensures alignment with international standards (e.g., ISO 22301, ISO 14001), local regulations, and corporate guidelines through effective coordination with key local and global stakeholders.
Main responsibilities
- Design and implement the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and its governance framework, ensuring operational continuity in the event of environmental incidents, critical service failures, natural disasters, cyberattacks, and supply chain disruptions. Align the plan with ISO 22301, ISO 14001, local regulations, and Nutreco’s global policies (e.g., BCP benchmarks from reference countries such as Norway and Chile).
- Lead the environmental project & operative initiative portfolio (initial phase), including the closure of major audit findings and the management of circular economy, eco-efficiency, and cleaner production projects or operative initiatives, in coordination with key stakeholders. In the second phase, evaluate other operational disruption risks in alignment with the BCP.
- Design and lead the Environmental Project and Operative Initiatives Process Drumbeat, ensuring the governance (LPO, PO, PMs) , presentation of status, monitoring and escalation of issues, with reporting to local and global stakeholders. In the second phase, assess additional operational disruption risks in alignment with the BCP.
- Lead the change management process using the ADKAR model and conduct Management of Change (MOC) evaluations in alignment with the strategy for establishing the BCP and the associated project and operative initiative process drumbeat.
- Develop and manage BI reporting for the BCP (e.g. environmental measures) and associated Project & Operative Initiatives Portfolio Management to present overall status to local and global stakeholders, including the Managing Director, Supply Chain Director, BU Lead Counsel, Strategic Planning Director and LATAM HSE Manager.
- Promote and disseminate environmental best practices across GISIS and Skretting AI operations, following the principles of Circular Economy, Eco-efficiency, and Cleaner Production during the first stage, and oversee compliance matters for the Business Unit in alignment with the BCP in subsequent stages.
- Verify the effectiveness of agreed mitigation measures within the environmental management system (ISO 14001 or equivalent) to ensure objectives and targets are met, supporting continuous improvement in environmental performance and energy efficiency through random inspections, audits, external consultations, and other activities. Address environmental matters in the first stage, and oversee compliance for the Business Unit in alignment with the BCP in subsequent stages.

We are looking for a professional with strong, inspiring leadership, strategic management skills, solid technical knowledge in project portfolio and risk management, analytical skills, effective communication, and a results-oriented approach.
You will also need:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. 4th Level Degree in Environmental Management, Circular Economy, Eco-efficiency / Sustainability
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business continuity plan development or compliance matters.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Experience with Project Management methodologies including Waterfall and Agile. PMP certification is a plus.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects in a PMO environment, creating and maintaining reports.
- Experience in leading and developing high-performing project teams.
- Experience in managing stakeholder relationships and facilitating effective communication.
- A minimum of two years' experience in the industry.
- Language: Fluent in Spanish and English, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (PowerBI, SharePoint, Planner, Co-pilot etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (MS Project Desktop/online)
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 and Integrated Management Systems.
