What you'll do 

• Strategic Planning & Analysis —Support in defining purchasing strategy. —Conduct market scanning, cost-trend forecasting, and analyze vendor proposals to inform decisions and present recommendations.
• Sourcing & Supplier Management — Identify sourcing opportunities, conduct quotation comparisons, negotiate contracts, and manage the full supplier lifecycle (approval, evaluation, audit, relationships).
• Operational Coordination & Inventory Control — Coordinate with Supply Chain on demand changes to create purchasing plans. —Define inventory strategies, optimize stock levels, shorten lead times, and resolve supply delays.
• Cost Optimization & Compliance —Lead cost-saving projects and initiatives (e.g., make-versus-buy, alternative sourcing). —Manage the procurement team, ensure compliance, and maintain/update procurement policies. —Support QA on material quality issues.

Who we're looking for

We are looking for someone who is responsible, accountable, and ready to Own this role.

You'll also need

• 5+ years of hands-on procurement experience in agri-commodities or feed ingredients. 
• Deep knowledge of the global fish-meal market and macro raw-material trends. 
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong negotiation and analytical skills. 
• Fluency in English (written and spoken). 
• Ability to work independently and lead a small team in a matrix organization.
