Financial In 2009 total net sales amounted to € 11.9 billion as compared to € 11.3 billion in 2008. Growth initiatives, including acquisitions and new Makro stores, added € 905 million of sales, while the sale of Makro Indonesia and Pakistan in 2008 resulted in a decline of € 255 million in sales.
