As a Business Application Specialist Finance, you will play a key role in supporting, improving, and implementing business applications across our global organisation, with a strong focus on Infor M3 and Unite Finance Processes.

You will work closely with Finance teams, business stakeholders, and IT colleagues to translate business needs into effective system solutions that drive efficiency, standardisation, and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

As Business Application Specialist Finance, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing Finance-related business applications, ensuring systems continue to meet business needs while driving process improvements and innovation.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide day-to-day support for Infor M3 and connected Finance applications, ensuring stable operations and effective issue resolution

  • Collaborate with Finance and other business functions to understand business requirements, translating them into process and functional specifications and delivering effective solutions

  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes through application enhancements and new technologies

  • Participate in and lead process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and standardisation

  • Manage medium to large-scale projects, ensuring business requirements are met and that optimal system configuration and successful implementation is achieved

  • Evaluate the feasibility of new initiatives and recommend appropriate system solutions

  • Configure and guide development of a finance applications to align with business requirements and best practices.

  • Build strong relationships with business partners across regions and functions

  • Work closely with globally distributed teams to support application maintenance, development, and continuous improvement

  • Stay informed about software developments and proactively identify opportunities to leverage new functionality

Who we're looking for

We're looking for a proactive and analytical professional who combines strong Finance process knowledge with experience supporting ERP systems and business applications.

You'll also need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, IT, or a related field

  • 3–5 years of experience supporting, developing, or implementing Infor (Lawson) M3 applications within a Finance environment

  • Strong understanding of Finance processes and Info M3

  • Experience translating business requirements into functional system solutions

  • Experience supporting application implementations, upgrades, and improvement projects

  • Affinity with IT service management principles (ITIL certification is advantageous)

  • Key soft skills include strong stakeholder management and communication skills, the ability to work effectively with international and cross-functional teams, strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, project and change management skills, and a proactive, collaborative mindset focused on continuous improvement

  • Fluency in English

Location & Practicalities

  • Location: Flexible (Flexible (can be based at any Nutreco location worldwide)

  • Work model: Hybrid / Remote depending on location

  • Travel: Up to 25% international travel
