What you’ll do
You’ll Own It by taking end-to-end accountability for stable, secure IT operations at one of Nutreco’s largest Canadian manufacturing sites—leading local and national projects, coordinating system launches, and ensuring dependable support for critical business applications (e.g., ERP/MES) and infrastructure. You’ll proactively manage integrations, deployments, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of the IT landscape, while communicating clearly with service providers and stakeholders, managing technology procurement and assets, and delivering responsive on-site and remote user support to keep the business running smoothly.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for a hands-on, accountable IT professional who will Own It—taking end-to-end responsibility for stable, secure technology operations while partnering closely with our National IT team. We value someone with 2+ years’ experience in IT infrastructure and application support, strong project delivery and system implementation capability, and the ability to troubleshoot across networks, security, and business-critical platforms (e.g., ERP/MES; LIMS/CRM as assets). We’re seeking a client-focused, organized communicator who collaborates well with stakeholders and service providers, manages deployments, integrations, and assets effectively, and continuously improves our IT landscape.
You’ll also need

3 years experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment

Experience in IT infrastructure and application support;

Experience Managing Technical Projects;

Working knowledge of common workplace software including LANDesk, Windows Server, SQL Server, VMware, Windows O/S, Microsoft Office (365)

Experience supporting Business Critical Systems (ERP, MES, LIMS, CRM) an asset

Network knowledge and wireless technologies.

Client focused approach and possess the ability to analyze and resolve hardware and software problems quickly and efficiently;

Familiarity with managing IT/Project budgets and resources

Strong leadership capabilities

Demonstrated organizational and analytical skills;

Proven interpersonal, negotiation and oral and written communication skills;

Outstanding approach to teamwork, collaboration and communication;

Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset
