Continuous Improvement Manager – Adriatic Region

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Continuous Improvement Manager to take our transformation journey to the next level. In this role, you will lead improvement initiatives and projects, manage the Continuous Improvement portfolio, develop performance management systems, and build organisational Continuous Improvement capabilities. Your mission will be to deliver sustainable improvements in performance, quality, safety, customer value, employee experience, and overall business results across the Adriatic region.

This is a regional role with direct impact on how we improve, simplify, and transform the way we work across Slovenia and Croatia.

The position is based in Ljubljana, with occasional business travel to Croatia.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Continuous Improvement strategy and roadmap across the organisation, aligned with company strategy and business objectives.

• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, accountability, and operational excellence.

• Identify, prioritise, and lead cross-functional improvement and transformation projects.

• Manage the Continuous Improvement project portfolio and ensure the delivery of measurable business benefits.

• Drive digitalisation, process automation, and data-driven decision-making initiatives.

• Analyse business processes and lead improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, cost efficiency, service performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.

• Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting systems across all business functions and operational locations.

• Implement and promote Lean Management, Kaizen, A3 Problem Solving, and other Continuous Improvement methodologies.

• Facilitate change management activities and support the successful adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working.

• Build Continuous Improvement capabilities through coaching, training, workshops, and the development of an internal Continuous Improvement network.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver sustainable process and business improvements.

• Provide guidance and support to project owners and business leaders in the execution of improvement and transformation initiatives.

• Work closely with senior leaders across Slovenia and Croatia to identify opportunities, implement improvements, and create measurable business value as part of the Adriatic transformation journey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

• Green Belt certification, or a similar Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Continuous Improvement certification.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, operational excellence, business transformation, or related roles.

• Experience leading cross-functional projects and driving organisational change.

• Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.

• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong analytical and data interpretation capabilities.

• Proactive mindset, results orientation, and accountability.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Effective team collaboration and ability to build positive working relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

• Black Belt certification, or a similar Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Continuous Improvement certification.

• Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, or equivalent).

• Change Management and Business Transformation trainings.

• Experience in Business Transformation, Process Excellence, Lean, Project Management and organisational change initiatives.
