What you’ll do
In this role, you’ll own and grow dairy sales across Southern Alberta by building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering solutions that create real value for producers. Living Nutreco’s Own It mindset, you’ll take initiative in developing and executing territory sales plans, partnering closely with customers to understand their needs, and working collaboratively with technical experts to bring the right commercial and nutritional solutions forward. You’ll act as a trusted advisor in the market—opening doors, closing deals, resolving issues, and helping drive sustainable business growth through proactive, customer-focused sales leadership.

We’re looking for a motivated, experienced relationship-driven sales professional who brings strong commercial instincts, confidence in customer conversations, and a genuine passion for helping dairy producers succeed. The ideal candidate takes ownership in the way Nutreco’s Own It EVP reflects—showing initiative, accountability, and the drive to turn opportunities into results. You’re someone who builds trust quickly, communicates with credibility, and balances independence with collaboration, working effectively with internal partners to deliver the best outcomes for customers. With solid sales experience, sound business judgment, and a proactive mindset, you thrive in a fast-moving environment and are energized by creating impact through strong partnerships and consistent follow-through.
You’ll also need

Proven dairy sales experience in the Southern Alberta region.

Strong business acumen with the ability to identify opportunities, prioritize accounts, and deliver against territory goals.

Confidence working independently in the field, with strong organization and time management skills.

A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly within Southern Alberta to meet with customers and prospects.

Post-secondary education in agriculture, animal science, business, or a related discipline is an asset.
