What you’ll do

Helping to support strategy development across plant operations in Portugal and Spain. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Translating business strategy into HR strategy and priorities,

  • Driving performance and people development across teams,

  • Leading organizational effectiveness and change initiatives.

  • Manage labour relations processes in Portugal, including negotiations with trade unions and employee representatives, while ensuring compliance with local labour laws and regulations.

You’ll also collaborate closely with management, Centres of Expertise and HR services teams, contribute to global HR strategy discussions, and take ownership of country-level HR projects and initiatives. Additionally, you will champion the full employee lifecycle—from talent acquisition and onboarding to engagement, development, and offboarding—ensuring strong people practices across the organization.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is energetic, responsible, accountable and ready to Own this role. Someone who is confident and credible, with the ability to partner with senior stakeholders and inspire trust through your actions. Experience in generalist HR roles within multinational environments is essential.

You’ll also need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Law, Labor Relations, Business Administration or similar (Master’s in HR or MBA is a plus)

  • At least 4–5 years of HR generalist or BP experience in labour relations processes in Portugal

  • Experience working within manufacturing or production plant environment is a mandatory.

  • Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish and English is mandatory.

  • You are also knowledgeable and understand Portuguese labor legislation.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed, international organization

We are looking for a candidate based in Madrid who is willing and able to travel regularly to our production facilities in Portugal, located in the Porto area. This role requires approximately 50% travel, with frequent visits to the Portuguese plants to support business operations, collaborate with local teams, and ensure close alignment across sites.
