Role: Integrated Business Planning (IBP) & Supply Planning Specialist

Location: On-site at St. Marys, ON

What you’ll do

You will own the execution and continuous improvement of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, working closely with Plant/Operations, third‑party suppliers, and cross‑functional stakeholders. You’ll balance demand and supply across operational and tactical horizons, prepare scenario‑based decision documents, and translate plans into actionable production, procurement, and logistics guidance. Through active participation in S&OE and IBP forums, you’ll optimize network performance, improve OTIF and EBIT, and ensure service, inventory, and capacity targets are met—while understanding the end‑to‑end impact on connected supply points.

Who we’re looking for

You are a hands‑on, analytically strong supply chain professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is comfortable influencing across functions. You own your numbers, challenge assumptions, and use data to identify risks and opportunities. With a strong business mindset and cross‑cultural awareness, you adapt your communication style to different stakeholders and build trusted relationships with internal teams and external suppliers. You are inquisitive, result‑driven, and motivated to continuously improve IBP maturity and supply chain performance.

You’ll also need

  • University degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or IBP within animal feed, FMCG, pharma, or a related industry
  • Experience in customer service, scheduling, logistics, manufacturing, or sales is an asset
  • Strong understanding of IBP, S&OE, and supply planning processes across operational and tactical horizons
  • Ability to balance demand and supply considering volume, revenue, cost, margin, and service levels
  • Experience preparing scenario‑based decision documents and supporting executive decision making
  • Strong KPI ownership and tracking (OTIF, inventory/working capital, forecast accuracy, capacity utilization, waste, stock‑outs)
  • Excellent ERP knowledge; advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; Infor M3 knowledge preferred
  • Strong numerical and analytical capability with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills
  • Hands‑on mentality with a passion for continuous improvement and root cause problem solving
