What you'll do

Reporting to the Logistics team, you'll play a key role in coordinating daily transport activities and ensuring products are delivered safely and efficiently to our customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and coordinating daily transport activities across the Trouw Nutrition fleet and third-party logistics providers (3PLs).
  • Scheduling customer and collection orders, ensuring orders are delivered efficiently and on time.
  • Liaising with several departments to manage delivery schedules, ETA updates and operational changes.
  • Creating and issuing picks lists and delivery documentation.
  • Providing inbound logistical support dealing with HGV drivers, EU vehicle documentation and vehicle weighments whilst monitoring the flow of traffic through our Ashbourne site.
  • Investigating delivery issues and customer complaints, coordinating corrective actions and maintaining accurate records within the CRM system.
  • Supporting operational flexibility through cross-training and providing cover across different areas of the logistics function when required.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is responsible, accountable and ready to Own this role. You'll be highly organised, react well under pressure and enjoy working as part of a supportive team where collaboration and helping one another really matters!

You'll also bring:

  • Previous transport, logistics or supply chain experience, ideally gained over 2-3 years would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence when dealing with customers, drivers and internal stakeholders.
  • Good IT skills and the ability to work accurately across multiple systems.
  • An organised approach with strong attention to detail.
  • The flexibility to adapt when priorities change and operational issues arise.
  • A positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to learn new areas of the operation.
  • A sustainable commute to the Ashbourne area.
