Maintenance Officer

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager:  

• Install, fabricate, maintain plant machinery and equipment
• Maintain workshop and parts
• Perform troubleshooting, adjustments, repairs and preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults, production breakdowns and production start-ups

Essential 

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a Maintenance tradesperson or similar
• Related trade qualifications
• Demonstrated high level of safety behaviour
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High degree of independence, maturity and initiative
• Proven ability to priorities and manage workloads efficiently and demonstrate flexibility in handling changing priorities
• Rotating on-call roster

Desirable 

• Experience in an FMCG environment or with automation, steam or gas appliances
• Forklift  / EWP License
• Restricted Electrical License
• Welding experience
• Drivers License
