Basec is looking for a Sales Administrator to support the sales function through efficient administration, coordination, and process management. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate sales documentation, ensuring CRM data integrity, and supporting the smooth execution of sales processes from quotation through to delivery.

This is a hybrid role within our Milton Keynes office.

Overview:

  • Respond to enquiries promptly in line with company procedures
  • Support day-to-day commercial and sales operations
  • Assist with lead tracking, quotations, follow-ups, and CRM (Salesforce) updates
  • Provide sales admin support to the Commercial Manager
  • Help prepare performance reports and maintain documentation
  • Support tenders, bids, and audit activities
  • Manage sales/enquiries inbox as required
  • Review quotations for accuracy and compliance
  • Coordinate lab jobs, monitor lead times, and chase samples/documentation
  • Maintain data quality and processes within Salesforce
  • Provide team cover and support travel/accommodation bookings

Responsabilities:

  • An understanding of sales and order management processes
  • Confident using CRM systems (Salesforce) and Microsoft applications
  • Good commercial awareness, including pricing and governance processes
  • Strong organisation, attention to detail, and communication skills

Qualifications:

  • £30,600 per annum
  • Generous Annual Leave – Starting at 25 days plus Bank Holidays, with the option to buy additional leave and increased entitlement with length of service
  • 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday, hybrid working (Tuesday’s and Thursday’s in the office however please expect a 2 week training plan initially based in the office).
