What you'll do
As an 'Territory Manager', you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and delivering value-based solutions to swine producers and key industry stakeholders. You will proactively identify and develop new business opportunities, manage existing customer accounts, and leverage a consultative selling approach to understand customer needs and position Selko's products and services effectively. Working closely with technical, marketing, customer service, and commercial teams, you will help customers improve performance while contributing to business growth and long-term partnerships.
Who we're looking for
We're looking for a customer-focused sales professional with experience in animal nutrition, animal health, feed additives, or swine production. You are skilled at building trusted relationships, identifying customer needs, and influencing decision-making through a consultative approach. You enjoy working independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams and are motivated by achieving sales targets, solving customer challenges, and creating value for customers.

Experience developing and executing territory and account sales plans to achieve sales targets.

Ability to identify, prospect, and acquire new customers through proactive business development activities.

Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to grow customer loyalty and long-term partnerships.

Consultative selling skills with the ability to uncover customer needs and communicate value-based solutions.

Experience managing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Strong organizational and administrative skills, including maintaining CRM records, sales activities, and follow-up plans.

Ability to analyze account opportunities, prioritize resources, and manage multiple customer relationships effectively.

Experience preparing quotes, supporting commercial discussions, and contributing to sales growth initiatives.

Strong communication and presentation skills with diverse audiences, including producers, nutritionists, veterinarians, and business stakeholders.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Willingness and ability to travel as required within the assigned territory.

Commitment to continuous learning through technical and product training.

Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and contribute to sales, customer service, and business improvement projects.
